For Hindi & Hinglish creators

Opus Clip vs Vizard vs Klap for Hindi podcast clips

Opus Clip is the name everyone knows — and its own help centre says it does not support Hindi. For a Hindi podcast or talking-head channel, the real choice is between Vizard and Klap, which both list Hindi officially.

Checked against each vendor's own documentation on 26 September 2026.

Why Opus Clip is out for Hindi — for now

Opus Clip is the most recommended clipping tool on the internet, which is exactly why this matters. Its help centre answers the question directly: it does not support Hindi at this time. Hindi is also missing from its official list of supported video languages.

It is otherwise a strong product, it accepts UPI from Indian users, and its blog has hinted at wider language support. If you make English videos, it is still worth a look. For a Hindi channel, check its help centre again before trusting any 'supports 30+ languages' claim.

Vizard: the most upload minutes for long Hindi episodes

Vizard lists Hindi (हिंदी) in its official transcription languages, and its API documentation says the language setting is what it uses to transcribe, generate subtitles and detect highlights. It does not describe its clipping as English-only.

The pricing suits long-form creators: the Creator plan includes 600 upload minutes a month — $14.50 a month billed yearly, or $29 month to month — with no watermark, 4K export and scheduling to connected social accounts. The free plan gives 60 minutes a month to test with, watermarked.

Klap: built for multi-host podcasts

Klap says it edits and transcribes in 52 languages, including Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada and Urdu — the broadest Indian-language list of the three.

Its standout feature for podcasts is layout: Klap says its reframing keeps the active speaker centred, switches to split-screen automatically when there are two hosts, and handles three- and four-person panels. It charges by clips produced rather than minutes uploaded — Basic is $14 a month billed yearly for 100 clips — which works out well if you upload long episodes but only want a handful of clips from each.

What no vendor tells you

None of the three documents how it handles Hinglish — speech that switches between Hindi and English mid-sentence — or whether Hindi captions come out in Devanagari or Roman letters. Both decide whether your clips work for your audience.

They also do not say how well their 'virality score' judges Hindi content. Run the same episode through Vizard's free plan and Klap's free video, and compare which one picks the moments you would have picked.
